About me
Hi, I’m Carl, and I’ve always been a dog lover. I’ve walked the reactive, worked through separation anxiety, trained the squirrel-obsessed, and now I’m here to help you and your dog.
I’ve spent years working with dogs, specialising in leash pulling, recall, obedience and focus, teaching tricks and, most importantly, learning to build strong relationships between dogs and their owners. I can reassure you that any problems you’re experiencing are solvable, they take time but I’ll show you how to enjoy the process and set you in the right direction. I recently moved to Sidmouth and am looking forward to working with people in and around East Devon.

Behaviour & Training Plans
Once we’ve got all the history and notes from our consultation call and form, you can choose from one of two packages. I always start with a minimum of three sessions, as that’s the bare minimum I’ll need to help you get results. You can order single or multiple follow up sessions once we’ve finished, and those will be at a reduced rate.

Short Leash
Loose-lead walking is often one of the most difficult skills to train. It can take time but I can give you the skills to get that perfect short leash walk, there are lots of great games we can play to make it fun as well.
Tricks
Not to be dismissed as silly little distractions, tricks help build a solid communication with your dog. Everything we train is a ‘trick’; short leash walking, recall, stopping barking…all of it. Getting them to spin, roll over and beg is a great way to get them engaging with you.
Puppies
I know, puppies are great! But with the cuteness comes problems. It’s a great time to start training though, as you can lay the groundwork to help prevent so many future issues. It’s not all training, we can work on socialisation and habituation, making sure your dog is comfortable in every environment.

Trust me I’ve been there, I’ve got a hunting dog so recall has been one of the most challenging things to train but I’ve got years of experience! I can give you the best exercises to recall your dog no matter the distraction. It takes patience and the right tools to get there but believe me, it’s possible!
